Linda Gonzales

Linda Gonzales grew up in North Carolina. She attended Duke University, majoring in Linguistics and English with a minor in Mandarin Chinese. After graduating from Duke, she lived and worked in Shenzhen China for a year, teaching English at a Chinese primary school. Linda first came to New Orleans to attend law school at Tulane University, and has since made it her home. Prior to joining Gieger, Laborde, & Laperouse, LLC, she practiced as a plaintiff personal injury attorney for over seven years, representing people injured in car accidents and premises liability cases. She then switched to practicing insurance defense, working at a national defense firm before joining GLL.
Linda’s experience includes taking and defending depositions, arguing motions and exceptions, resolving cases at mediation, and appellate work, including arguing before the Louisiana 5th Circuit Court of Appeal. Her practice at GLL is focused on insurance coverage and defense litigation.
