Charlotte A. Fields

Charlotte Fields was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and has called Houston home since 2002. Licensed in Texas in 2001, she is also admitted to the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas, as well as the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Charlotte’s practice areas include insurance coverage, general casualty litigation, oil and gas/energy litigation, personal injury, wrongful death, construction defect, premises liability, and products liability claims.
Charlotte, who was recently characterized by opposing counsel in a serious injury case as “the most effective litigator” they had encountered in their practice, has broad experience in all phases of litigation—from investigation to appeal. She has particular expertise with pretrial motion practice and has obtained dismissal of claims via summary judgment in a range of matters such as serious personal injury claims against oil and gas operators and premises liability claims against property owners. Charlotte has tried a number of cases in both state and federal courts, the majority of which resulted in either defense verdicts or favorable results for the client. She has submitted briefs and argued cases in both state and federal courts of appeals. As a result of her attention to detail and foresight, Charlotte has gravitated toward insurance coverage
work.
