Garanique A. Steward

Garanique A. Steward, a native of New Orleans, Louisiana, joined Larborde Siegel through the firm’s summer associate program and became an Associate after earning her Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center (SULC) in May 2025, where she graduated cum laude.

Garanique began her academic journey at Southern University at New Orleans, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Addictive Behaviors in May 2018. She went on to obtain her Master of Public Administration degree from Southern University and A&M College in 2019.

While at SULC, Garanique served on the Board of Student Advisors and as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property, Technology, and Law (JIPTL). She was selected as a Thurgood Marshall College Fund (TMCF) Leadership Institute Scholar and was an active member of several student organizations, including the SBA Diversity Committee, Women in Law, and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
