Stephen C. Schilter

Stephen C. Schilter is a second-generation trial lawyer from Friendswood, Texas. He graduated from Baylor University in 2016 where he double majored in International Studies and German. Stephen went on to earn his Juris Doctor in 2020 from Baylor University School of Law. After graduating from Baylor Law School, Stephen returned home to Houston to begin his practice representing personal injury plaintiffs where he gained valuable trial experience and insights into how plaintiff firms operate. Subsequently, he joined a large defense firm handling complex casualty, catastrophic injury, construction, product liability, premises liability, and Multidistrict Litigation cases. Stephen joined Laborde Siegel’s Houston office in 2025.
Stephen’s legal practice at Laborde Siegel focuses primarily on oil and gas injury, catastrophic injury, products liability, premises liability, construction, and general casualty litigation. Stephen has experience working alongside and against some of the most accomplished and well-respected trial attorneys in Texas. In addition to handling new cases at their inception, Stephen is frequently engaged in cases at later stages for purposes of trial or resolution.
